The directors and senior management of Guardian Electrical solutions have developed and delivered electrical safety seminars for a number of years. These extremely popular seminars aim to provide attendees with an enhanced understanding of electrical legislation, advise on how a safe working environment is provided, and how best to discharge duty holder responsibilities.

Guardian are presenting their third electrical safety seminar of 2012 on Wednesday 28th November 2012 at the The Mere Golf Resort & Spa. The focus will be on the Electricity at Work Regulations (1989), the NEW 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Amendment (now in force), the Health & Safety Offences Act 2008 and related insurance issues.

  • Overview of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 with specific focus on duty holder responsibilities
  • An insurers view (AXA) on electrical safety in the workplace
  • Corporate Manslaughter and the Health & Safety Offences Act 2008
